Devido a pandemia da Covid-19 a cerimônia que foi remarcada para o dia 14 de outubro terá Kelly Clarkson como anfitriã

A premiação Billboard Music Awards divulgou nesta terça-feira a lista completa de indicados. O evento era para ter acontecido em abril deste ano, mas devido a pandemia do novo coronavírus a cerimônia foi adiada para o dia 14 de outubro. Apesar do adiamento a premiação continua considerando o período de 23 de março de 2019 até 14 de março de 2020 para a avaliação das paradas musicais.

Lideram as indicações o rapper Post Malone nomeado para 15 categorias, seguido por Lil Nas X com 13 e Billie Eilish e DJ Khalid com 12. Outro artista que se destacou foi Kanye West com seu álbum gospel “Jesus Is King”, conquistando 9 indicações nas categorias de música cristã e gospel.

Esse ano os fãs decidiram os vencedores de 3 categorias através de votações: “Prêmio da Billboard de Alcance nas Paradas”, “Top Artista nas Redes Sociais” e “Top Parceria”.
